Staff writer
Hired to handle a geographical beat including town meetings and school boards. Promoted through the ranks to cover higher education, nuclear power plants, visual arts, music, dance and theater. Cultivated sources, developed story ideas and met deadlines to write five to eight articles each week, as well as a triweekly classical music column
